Making a Bequest to Wright State University

If you would like to include Wright State University in your will or revocable living trust, the following methods and language are suggested to ensure that your charitable intentions are appropriately fulfilled.

To give a specific amount:
I give, devise, and bequeath to the Wright State University Foundation $______________.

To give a portion of an estate:
I give, devise and bequeath to the Wright State University Foundation _______% of my estate owned by me at my death.

To give the remaining balance of an estate:
I give, devise and bequeath to the Wright State University Foundation the residue of my property owned by me at my death.

Donors who wish to stipulate the use of the funds that will be ultimately given may wish to add the following phrases to the above:

...for unrestricted use by Wright State University.

...for the use and benefit of the Department or School/College/Division of ________________ at Wright State University.

...to establish/for the ________________ (endowment) fund, (the income from) which is to be used for ________________ (scholarships, chairs, professorships, faculty awards, etc.) in the Department of __________________ in the School/College/Division of ________________ at Wright State University.
